The Opportunity:

We're looking for a commercially-minded finance professional who thrives in ambiguity, influences senior stakeholders and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.

 

This Commercial Manager role partners closely with our non-licensed Marketing team, providing commercial and financial leadership across brand investment decisions, New Product Development (NPD), business cases, portfolio optimisation and long-term strategic planning.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Marketing leaders to provide strategic commercial and financial support
  • Lead the development and evaluation of business cases, including NPD initiatives
  • Provide insightful analysis on investment decisions, opportunities and business risks
  • Support brand strategy development and mid-term planning activities
  • Own budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking across marketing investment and overheads
  • Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, governance and decision-making
  • Use data and insights to influence stakeholders and improve commercial outcomes
  • Ensure strong governance and financial discipline across projects and investments

What we're looking for:

  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Experience in Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering, or a Commercial Analyst role with the capability to step into a Commercial Manager position.
  • Proven ability to partner with Marketing and/or Sales stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to influence, challenge and support business decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a track record of taking initiative and driving outcomes.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
  • Enterprise mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture and balance short and long-term priorities.
  • Process-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement and finding smarter ways of working.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP, Power BI or similar tools is advantageous.
  • FMCG experience is highly regarded.
