About your role
As our Project Manager Brand Growth & Innovation you will lead the execution of doubling Lucozade Sport (Project GOAT), a high-impact growth initiative for SBFI. This role is critical to ensuring that our ambitious growth plan stays on track, with a particular focus on project managing NPD and aligning cross-functional teams to key milestones.
You will act as the central orchestrator – ensuring clarity of timelines, ownership, risks, and decisions across the plan. This is a high-visibility, high-accountability role for someone who thrives on turning strategy into action, and who excels at bringing structure to complexity.
What You'll Do
Project Planning & Delivery
Own and manage the end-to-end project plan to double the brand's business over 3 years, ensuring clear visibility of timelines, milestones, and owners.
Lead project meetings (particularly those that have x functional interdependence eg Innovation), ensuring timely decision-making, alignment, and follow-through on actions.
Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams, escalating where necessary to keep the plan on track.
Track and report progress against objectives, keeping leadership and stakeholders informed with regular updates.
Innovation Project Management
Drive the delivery of the pipeline of innovations, from concept through to launch.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Marketing) to ensure critical paths are maintained and launch readiness is achieved.
Ensure all gate reviews, governance steps, and internal approvals are met on time.
Process & Organisation
Establish and lead clear project structures, documentation, and governance processes to ensure discipline and transparency.
Champion project management best practice across the team – from clear agendas and meeting notes to issue logs and timelines.
Drive continuous improvement in how we execute brand plans, embedding repeatable ways of working where possible.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Act as the glue between functions – ensuring alignment, accountability, and momentum across all teams involved.
Maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, anticipating their needs and providing clear, concise updates.
Build engagement and belief in the project vision across the wider organisation.

What You need to be successful
Proven experience in project management within FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or a related fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex cross-functional projects – ideally including new product launches or brand transformation initiatives.
Strong organisational and time management skills – able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills – able to bring people with you and manage up effectively.
Comfortable with ambiguity and change – proactive, solutions-oriented, and resilient.
Strong working knowledge of project planning tools and methodologies (e.g. Gantt charts, RAID logs, stage-gate, agile principles). Ideally expertise in Scrum / Agile
Experience in marketing, innovation, or commercial functions is a plus.
