New Product Development Manager

About you

You are passionate about new product development and drinks and are looking for a great short-term assignment (mat cover 12 months) working on iconic brands like Ribena and Lucozade. You are used to leading teams and managing cross functional teams to successful product launches or renovations. You have strong project management skills, a deep understanding of the product lifecycle and the ability to balance innovation and practical considerations. You are a visionary but always think customer first.  

About the job

As New Product Development Manager you will lead & manage 3 NPD Scientists assigned to certain development groups and deputies in the senior managers absence. You will provide leadership and technical training to the team when needed. You will manage NPD priorities between Markets, Technical Center and other R&D functions.  

You will lead and manage the technical delivery of assigned new product development or product renovation that contribute to delivering the growth requirements for each Markets and across Suntory brands. You will provide effective scientific & technical stewardship for the brands in support of the business purpose. As the NPD manager you will provide technical expertise through delivery of new liquid formulations and responsible for continuous development of technical expertise, NPD processes and WOW.  

To ensure success, you will build strong relationship with key stakeholders and third parties to ensure alignment on the NPD process. You will interact with marketing and commercial driving proactive creativity on NPD. 

As part of your scope you will lead and manage other technical projects - including technical validations, ingredient changes, proactive and long-term NPD initiatives (transversal projects). In line of our gemba value, you will keep abreast of new ingredients, trends and technologies.
