About your role
The purpose of this position is to execute the SBF GB&I Commercial Plan within assigned modern retail customers to meet and exceed business KPIs, driving growth and brand impact in a key sales channel.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain strong relationships across assigned modern retail (Discounter) customers (Home Bargains, B&M, Heron)
Execute the Joint Business Plan with customers to deliver volume, net sales, and gross profit targets.
Manage all customer-related administration including promotional proposals, invoicing, and debt management to a high standard.
Collaborate with Category and Shopper teams to implement the commercial plan using execution levers to maximize brand presence and sales.
Coordinate with Field Sales and Supply Chain to ensure optimal stock availability and execution in customer outlets.
Develop annual customer plans with the Controller to forecast volume and working spend aligned with commercial calendar and customer activations.
Monitor and analyze customer performance monthly, communicating financial status and recommending improvements to stakeholders.
Evaluate trade and execution spend to ensure return on investment targets are met.

What You need to be successful
Essential
Strong experience with discounters and understanding of the modern retail channel. Can demonstrate strategic thinking with customer set.
Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and converting opportunities.
Commercial acumen with good understanding of FMCG marketplace and market dynamics.
Strong communication and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
Financial numeracy and ability to build robust commercial proposals.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with TPM and volume forecasting systems.
Desirable
Degree educated or equivalent qualification.
Experience working within a fast-growing modern retail environment.
Knowledge of shopper marketing and category management principles. Previous exposure to cross-functional team collaboration in sales and supply chain.
