THE ROLE
As an Assistant Brand Manager within the Lucozade Strategy & Portfolio team, you will support the delivery of growth for Lucozade Energy and Lucozade Sport through flavour innovation and PPA (Price, Pack, Architecture) projects. This role plays a key part in executing innovation and optimisation initiatives, helping to keep the brand relevant, competitive and exciting for consumers.
Lucozade is one of the leading Sports & Energy drink brands in the UK, with a long-established portfolio of products and an enviable set of partnerships, athletes and influencers, including Jude Bellingham, Anthony Joshua, Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC and the England football teams. With a sizeable annual budget and a proven track record of innovation and communication, it is an iconic brand that deserves the very best work and talent.
Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager, you will support the development and launch of new flavour innovations across Lucozade Energy and Lucozade Sport. You will help identify consumer opportunities and support the translation of consumer insights and trends into compelling flavour ideas.
You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver innovation launches on time and to a high standard. In partnership with teams including R&D, Insights and Marketing, you will contribute to the successful execution of innovation and portfolio projects.
You will support pack format, pricing and portfolio optimisation initiatives aligned with brand and commercial strategy, while also tracking competitor activity and category trends to help inform future recommendations and brand decisions.
You will manage project timelines, budgets and key deliverables across multiple projects, ensuring strong execution and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
In a fast-moving and competitive environment, you will balance multiple innovation and optimisation initiatives simultaneously while contributing to the continued growth of one of the UK's most iconic brands.

YOUR PROFILE
- Previous experience in marketing or brand management, ideally within FMCG
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
- Proactive approach and eagerness to learn
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Consumer-focused mindset with a passion for brands and innovation
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in innovation and portfolio management would be advantageous
- Knowledge of the beverage or sports/energy drink category would be beneficial.
Permanent position based in our Uxbridge office, with hybrid working. Immediate start preferred.
