ABOUT YOU
You are responsible for New Product Development (NPD) and product re-engineering of assigned projects. Your role involves:
- Developing New Products: You lead the development and re-engineering of new and existing products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
- Scheduling the Pilot Plant: You manage the scheduling of the pilot plant, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and on time.
- Supporting Engineering Solutions: You collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify and implement engineering solutions that optimize the production process.
- Supporting HACCP Process: You provide support in the implementation and maintenance of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system to ensure product safety and quality.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your responsibilities will include various technical and development aspects, as well as strategic and production support. As a Technical Development Lead, you will be responsible for the timely and complete delivery of assigned projects, ensuring that all technical aspects are met. You will develop recipes for compounds, emulsions, flavors, and finished products, creating high-quality formulations that meet our standards. Additionally, you will create detailed instructions for concentrates and bottling plants, and execute scientific and technical work on development projects independently, showcasing your expertise and problem-solving skills.
Regarding production responsibilities, you will assist in the production of pilot, intermediate, and finished products, providing technical support as needed. You will also provide technical support to strategic projects and Cost Out Value In (COVI) programs, contributing to the overall success of our initiatives. You will ensure that all formulations and ideas are accurately captured in the SBFE database for future reference, validate and record samples or batches produced in the lab, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Additionally, you will address and resolve any issues related to product and pack interactions, and write and review NPD-related procedures, instructions, and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
In your pilot responsibilities, you will lead planning efforts to achieve growth targets across markets for SBFE brands, ensuring strategic alignment. You will identify and implement solutions in manufacturing processes, utilities, and CAPEX forecasting to optimize operations. You will participate in HACCP process management, including updating prerequisites, flow diagrams, addressing non-conformities, and implementing corrective actions. You will use tools and documents such as Ennov, TSR, QMS, Yellow Book, NPD handbook, My SU, etc., to deliver according to standards. Additionally, you will support Pilot Plant productions whenever needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCED ON THE ROLE
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in a food-related science field such as Food Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Demonstrated competence in developing beverages and managing projects.
- Experience working within food companies.
- Experience in coordinating project technical activities.
