Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

About your role
This role will lead the company's financial planning & analysis function, enabling the Management to evaluate key decisions and business performance whilst also delivering ad hoc analysis & challenge to maximize the capability of company to achieve its strategic goals. Drive enhancements in business intelligence and corporate reporting and manage the company's financial reporting function.
What You'll Do
Drive the performance of BU through continuous insight & challenge.
- Understand financial performance, driving and tracking actions to deliver our big priorities and key targets.
- Create a clear and coherent story of performance and actions for use within the business unit and at a group level.
- Deep dive analysis into performance issues.
- Link external data with internal financial performance.
Process owner for financial forecasting processes in Taiwan market (including cross over activities with HE BU).
- Complete the monthly rolling forecast and track risks & opportunities, identifying what options are available to deliver the plan each month.
- Communicate with relevant business functions on timetables & requirements.
- Ensure the forecasting process is fit for purpose, governed and documented appropriately.
- Work with CFO for Long Term Planning to ensure the Budget is completed robustly and ready for in-year performance tracking & understanding.
Finance process owner for commercial reporting and planning systems.
- Deliver standardized reporting on time each month, and the governing report change requests accordingly.
- Champion system & process awareness within the Finance department, but also Commercial functions.
- Manage the planning systems with IT for hierarchy changes, system upgrades / maintenance, and change requests.
Delivering the Finance Roadmap
- Take on a broader role in executing the Finance Roadmap, driving significant changes in how the FP&A team operates, while fostering strong collaboration with the central Finance team.
- Support the delivery of the 'Strategy & Planning' team goals.

- Have FP&A experience gained in a large FMCG or Retail organization.
- Outstanding communicator and be able to influence/drive change.
- Have experience to be the role with real commercial focus.
- Experience in business partnering with non-finance functions is essential.
- Having strong business & financial awareness, understanding levers to drive revenue & profit is essential.
- Experience managing cross functional planning processes is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to distill key messages and make recommendations from complex data and sources are essential.
- Hands-on experience of planning systems is essential (SAP is desirable)
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes is essential.
- Experience in using external data to complement financial data is desirable.
