About your role
You will be based in our Taipei office and play a pivotal role in managing payroll and benefits administration for Taiwan and Hong Kong. This includes ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of services. You will supervise a payroll assistant and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in payroll and benefits processes.
What You'll Do
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Independently execute payroll and benefits tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage specialist processes including payroll, leave and time management, and vendor performance.
- Provide high-quality service to employees and colleagues.
- Escalate complex requests to relevant CoEs (Reward, Talent Acquisition).
- Develop user guides for frequently asked questions.
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop one direct report (payroll administrator).
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to ensure service excellence.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with Business Partners, People Excellence teams, and CoEs to resolve queries.
- Escalate issues when necessary to ensure resolution.
- Customer Experience & Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process optimization and automation opportunities.
- Contribute to the P&C Services knowledge base.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in governance forums as a subject matter expert.
Compensation & Benefits Support
- Provide data for MOR/Mid term plan (MTP)/Annual Operating Plan (AOP) reviews (e.g., turnover rate, overtime, leave encashment).
- Review and propose enhancements to HR benefits.
- Manage vendor relationships for insurance, health checks, and leasing programs.
- Oversee people cost budgeting and forecasting, including cross-charging.
- Support global/regional C&B initiatives and policy updates.
- Communicate C&B plans clearly to stakeholders.
- Handle employee and stakeholder queries, including support for international assignees.
People Excellence
- Support AOP preparation, budgeting, and government-related labor matters.
- Assist the PE team with employee data, ASK P&C, and projects.
- Respond to ad-hoc labor inspections from government agencies.
