About your role

The role of Manager, Talent Acquisition, is responsible for managing end-to-end recruiting activities for contract and permanent professional positions across North Cluster (Taiwan and Hong Kong) including sourcing, screening, selection, offer management and onboarding. This role is based in Taipei, Taiwan.

What You'll Do

Strategic Talent Acquisition    

  • Accountable for delivering against organisational resourcing needs, partnering with our People and Culture (P&C) Business Partners and Business Leaders to ensure that resourcing needs are met. You will act as a business partner and consult with Leaders on recruitment strategies, insights and market trends.
  • Partner with the business to translate business strategy into recruitment/sourcing strategies, applying a proactive lens to ensure we are future fit for our upcoming talent needs.
  • Own end to end Talent Acquisition processes including developing selection criterion, assessing candidate capability through selection tools and managing TA online platforms (e.g., professional networks and social media channels).
  • Provide coaching and training to hiring managers on their role in the recruitment process, including but not limited to; assessment and selection, interview technique, promotion of career opportunities and Suntory’s employer brand
  • Optimise existing systems and tools to continuously improve the overall talent acquisition process and experience for key stakeholders involved (including Talent Acquisition, Candidates and Hiring Managers). 

 

Candidate Experience    

  • Elevate the candidate experience by providing timely feedback and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to improve the overall candidate experience.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to streamline and enhance the recruitment process.
  • Actively solicit and act on candidate feedback to continuously improve our talent acquisition practices.

 

Employer Brand Enhancement    

  • Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders (such as Corporate Affairs) to support with the development and execution of employer branding strategies and initiatives.
  • Create compelling and authentic employer brand narratives to attract top talent.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion efforts within recruitment to strengthen our brand's reputation.
  • Identify relevant avenues to promote the organisations employer brand (such as industry events and careers fairs). 

 

Talent Reporting & Analytics    

  • Use data and formal measurement channels to track the performance impact of workforce solutions on business outcomes and continuously improve and adapt services/offerings to meet the changing requirements of the business.
  • Support with the development and maintenance of comprehensive talent acquisition reporting and analytics dashboards to support data led talent conversations.
  • Generate insights from data to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for efficiency in the recruitment process.

Compliance with Policy & Procedures    

  • Operating in accordance with Suntory policies and procedures
  • Other duties as deemed necessary Suntory for the achievement of business outcomes

What You need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or other related discipline.
  • Possesses relevant experience, preferably in an in-house capacity.
  • Exposure to FMCG industry is preferred
  • Ability to tie strategic sourcing solutions to business imperatives and talent agenda.
  • Deep internet research and networking skills that enables one to build a consistent and sustainable talent pipeline.
  • Demonstrated experience improving systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Possesses the ability to influence as a strategic consultant.
  • High level of executive maturity that enables one to develop strong partnerships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Fluency in English and Traditional Chinese languages
