About your role

As a Learning and Talent Manager, your role is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring that our employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to excel. Through innovative talent management strategies and partnership with business leaders, you enable all Suntorians to unleash their potential and by extension help develop and retain talents that can drive our success and enable us to achieve our ambitious goals.

What You'll Do

Develop Performance and Talent Management across SBFHE – North Cluster
•    Develop the strategic plans to nurture talent pipelines and manage talent successions more effective in SBFHE North Cluster.
•    Provide timely insights on the status of performance management cycle progress and identifying mitigating actions required to support the business across SBFHE North Cluster.
•    Build local programs that nurture future leaders, identifying high-potential employees, and creating paths for career advancement.


Drive Performance, Talent Management and Engagement across SBFHE - North Cluster 
•    In partnership with People & Culture Busiess Partner/People Partners, accountable for timely and effective talent core process to be implemented in responsible market, following the Global/Regional guideline, process and tools, to ensure consistency and effectiveness. 
•    Ensure employees' goals are aligned with business objectives and facilitating performance reviews that provide actionable feedback.
•    Encourage a feedback-driven culture to help employees improve and grow.
•    Partner business leaders to identify and develop future leaders and high-potential employees within the company.
•    Work with the P&C BP/PPs to support with local employee engagement programs and initiatives.


Build Learning Culture across SBFHE - North Cluster
•    Execute Corporate Learning Initiatives/ priorities from global/ region across SBFHE – North Cluster. 
•    Identify local skill gaps and training needs by analysing employee performance, organizational goals, and industry trends.
•    Create or curating local training materials, courses, and development programs tailored to address the needs of employees at different levels.
•    Oversee the delivery of training sessions, either personally or by coordinating with external trainers or departments.
•    Foster a culture that encourages continuous learning and development across the organization.
•    Work with Leadership team to understand business priorities and aligning talent and learning strategies to support these goals.
•    Cross-Department collaboration, ensuring that various departments have access to the training, resources, and talent they need to meet their goals.
•    Identification of local government grants that could be leveraged for the purposes of building learning culture.
•    Accountable for training records and any other documentation required for local government requirements.

 

What You'll Do

Build Capacity for the Future
•    Be part of the team member of global Talent and Learning project(s) as an enabler to executive development initiatives for responsible market. You will also be the primary internal Mandarin translator for Talent and Learning activations.
•    Change Management: Supporting the business through organizational change, helping employees adapt to new systems, structures, or cultural shifts.


Data Analysis and Reporting
•    Learning Metrics: Using data to measure the effectiveness of learning programs, including employee engagement, retention rates, skill improvements, and impact on performance.
•    Talent Metrics: Analysing recruitment, retention, and employee performance data to make informed decisions on talent management strategies.
•    Overseeing and optimizing the Learning Management System (LMS) for effective delivery, tracking, and reporting on learning activities.
•    Exploring and implementing new learning technologies, such as eLearning platforms, virtual learning environments, or mobile learning solutions to enhance employee development. 


Budget Management
•    Resource Allocation: Managing budgets for talent management and learning initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.

What You need to be successful

  • Mastery of English and Mandarin in spoken and written format
  • Solid experience in either/both Talent Management and Learning & Capability.
  • Previous experience with Success Factor will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for the role
