The Opportunity

This newly created role of Wellbeing & Injury Management Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of our Wellbeing & Injury Management frameworks and the successful candidate will be a role model and champion for these specialist areas across our expanding business.

 

Key responsibilities will include:-

  • Development and implementation of Suntory Oceania Wellbeing framework and plans that align with the company wide HSW framework and strategy
  • Partner with Leaders to provide best practice Wellbeing & Injury Management and guidance and support for longer term improvements
  • Analysing and reporting on Wellbeing and Injury Management trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Review, improvement and extension of our wellbeing benefits, in partnership with our Remuneration team
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation by providing sound advice in relation to compliance and keeping abreast of legislated changes
  • Developing and implementing the Injury Management framework, procedures and processes for effectively managing work & non-work related injuries.
  • Effective reporting and management of complex injury claims
  • RTW coordination

What's in your toolkit?

With a sound working knowledge of the Wellbeing & Injury Management legal frameworks across New Zealand and Australia we’re looking for someone with a passion for supporting employees through the development of a range of contemporary Wellbeing initiatives.  With a background in injury management/workers compensation and with the aspiration to support employees more holistically from a Wellbeing perspective. You will have exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coach, mentor and influence leaders.  We’re embarking on a period of rapid transformation so the ability to adapt and be flexible as our business grows and evolve and sometimes work in the grey as we define the way forward. Tertiary qualifications in Safety or relevant discipline.
