This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our Australian logistics and setting the strategy as we become Suntory Oceania.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the national transport operations and freight forwarding team with a key focus on effective management of transport providers
  • Leading the implementation og major AU delivery projects – TMS and establishing new linehaul freight contracts.
  • Contributing to the development of the transport strategy for Oceania Suntory in Australia
  • Managing the transport budget (~40m) and identifying areas for cost savings
  • Leading and developing a high performing team.
  • Embedding new suppliers into the business and ensuring they are meeting agreed SLA’s

What's in your toolkit?

  • Previous experience managing customer and supplier relationships
  • Problem solving mindset – you will come up with innovative solutions to challenges
  • Ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven ability managing large budgets
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing large contracts
  • Strong leadership experience with proven experience growing and leading high performing teams
