Who are we?

As a leading beverage manufacturer in the Oceania market, Frucor Suntory has a rich 60-year history, growing from a local juice company to a trans-Tasman beverage leader, known for its iconic range of drinks including V Energy and Suntory BOSS Coffee.

With our partners at Beam Suntory, we’re embarking on a new chapter of growth to become Suntory Oceania, a new multi-beverage powerhouse across Australia and New Zealand –underpinned by our diverse talent, market-leading brands, quality craftsmanship and a strong sense of purpose.

With an inspiring growth trajectory ahead, there has never been a better time to join the Suntory family. From 2025, we will own local manufacturing, sales, and distribution for our full portfolio of alcohol and non-alcohol beverages. By harnessing the best of Suntory from across Australia and New Zealand, we will offer a unique portfolio of over 40 market-leading brands – powered by two local manufacturing sites, five distribution centres and more than 1500 Suntorians.

Together, we will bring the best of Suntory to Oceania.

The Opportunity

This is a 12 month Fixed-Term-Contract and a hand-on role that combines aspects of Business Analysis and Software development. The work is primarily to lead the product development, analysis, and QA aspects of the Supply Chain IT Stream used by the Supply Chain team as well as some Enterprise-wide products. You need to understand the vision of a product from the point-of-view of customers, end users and stakeholders.

Many of the applications will be delivered using SAP, although other applications are also involved. Much of this work will be undertaken in collaboration with other Value Stream teams based both in New Zealand and Australia. Due to the nature of Business Technology roles at Suntory, this role will focus on ANZ or trans-Tasman requirements but the ability to collaborate and work with resources in other value streams in both New Zealand and Australia to design, implement and plan development is a must.

Key responsibilities Agile Software Development (requirements gathering, design thinking, writing user stories, prioritization, sprint planning, backlog grooming), business analysis, stakeholder management in New Zealand and Australia

To enable you to hit the ground running, we’re looking for:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with robust communication skills
  • Skills in writing clear and concise user stories
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to work autonomously
