The Opportunity:

We’re searching for a Route to Market - Data & Routing Specialist — a role that sits at the heart of efficient sales execution and outstanding customer experience.

 

You will design, optimise, and maintain the sales routes and visitation plans that support our field teams across Australia and New Zealand. Your work will directly influence rep productivity, cost‑to‑serve, customer coverage, and our ability to move with speed and precision in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

 

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with geospatial and analytical data, and building systems that help teams perform at their best.

What you'll do:

  • Route Planning & Sales Optimisation: Creating efficient, data‑driven route structures that maximise sales coverage, reduce travel time, and support smarter field execution.
  • RTM Systems, Data Accuracy & Governance: Maintaining high‑quality customer and routing data to ensure accurate system outputs and strong governance across all RTM processes.
  • Execution & Deployment: Delivering accurate route builds on time, supporting field teams during implementation, and driving continuous improvement through performance monitoring.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partnering across Sales, Commercial, Logistics, Finance, IT and field teams to ensure routes are practical, aligned to business needs, and support RTM strategy.

What you bring:

  • Experience in route planning, sales operations, logistics optimisation, RTM or territory planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets or geospatial information.
  • Proficiency with mapping or routing tools (e.g., Salesforce Maps, GIS‑based systems).
  • High attention to data accuracy and experience managing customer/master data.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • A structured and organised approach to your work.
  • FMCG/CPG industry experience. (Desirable)
