The Opportunity:
As National Business Manager, you will lead the Leisure channel strategy, driving sales and profitability through strong channel plans and customer partnerships. You’ll manage a team of 2 National Account Managers and 3 Key Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture and delivering results through others.
This role offers full P&L responsibility, autonomy, and flexibility to make an impact while being supported by an outstanding team.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for Leisure and Foodservice expansion.
- Manage key relationships with Foodservice, QSR, and Leisure customers.
- Lead negotiations for trading terms and agreements.
- Drive channel performance through forecasting, budgeting, and KPI delivery.
- Coach and develop your team to achieve growth targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Category, Demand, and Route teams.
About you:
- Extensive experience in the Foodservice, catering, QSR, or the vending space (Not your traditional trade channels) with strong customer management skills.
- Proven success in P&L management, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to build long-term partnerships and lead high-performing teams.
- Flexibility to travel nationally and engage with industry bodies.
- Hustle and a dynamic, ambitious mindset with hunger to grow.
- Commercial acumen, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think outside the box and bring innovative solutions.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Leadership experience, ideally having managed a team (including turning around underperformance).
- Ability to deliver results through others and foster a high-performance culture.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Distributor experience highly valued (but not essential).
