The Opportunity:
Reporting to a National Business Manager, this National Account Manager – On-Premise role offers something unique and career defining. Joining in our build phase, you will play a key role in establishing work processes as well as building collaborative relationships with your On-Premise based customers to enable the delivery of the Suntory Oceania strategy, including category, marketing and executional excellence and deliver sales performance with trade spend.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Partnership: Liaise with key customers to drive mutual growth in line with agreed Joint Business Plans, focusing on:
- Customer and consumer centricity.
- Deliverables and price realisation initiatives.
Commercial Execution: Build and execute promotional and activation programs that align with Suntory Oceania’s business objectives.
Financial Management: Collaborate closely with the National Business Manager and Finance team to manage the P&L effectively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop strong internal relationships to deliver:
- The voice of the customer across the business.
- Rigorous performance tracking to forecast, report, and deliver key supply and commercial metrics.
- Best-practice, action-oriented initiative ROI reviews, including course correction and growth opportunities.
- Process compliance, including price realisation execution and claims optimisation.
What's in your toolkit?
We’re looking for candidates with experience in the On-Premise sector, ideally with a background in managing relationships across a diverse customer base—such as bars, restaurants, events, stadiums, or similar venues.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record of working directly with venues in the On-Premise environment.
- A natural flair for building and maintaining effective customer relationships to achieve triple-win outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Excellent prioritisation, numerical, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to negotiate and influence across all levels.
- A curious mindset and a passion for shaping culture during a dynamic and exciting phase of our business.
