The Opportunity:

Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for an exceptional National Account Manager – Foodservice, QSR & Leisure to join our high‑performing AU Sales team. This is a unique opportunity to lead national customer partnerships across some of the most influential Out‑of‑Home channels in the country, driving the availability, visibility, and penetration of our iconic portfolio.

 

Reporting to the National Business Manager – Leisure, you will take full ownership of major national customers within the Foodservice, Catering, QSR and broader Leisure channels.
Your mission? To deliver sustainable growth, expand distribution, and unlock strategic customer opportunities.

 

You will shape and execute national customer plans, drive commercial outcomes, and lead the negotiation of customer trading terms with a strong commercial mindset. Success in this role will come from your ability to partner cross‑functionally, influence key decision‑makers, and create joint value for both Suntory and our customers.

What you'll do:

Channel Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute national channel and customer plans
  • Build long‑term, strategic relationships with major partners
  • Analyse distribution, promotional activity and competitor performance to identify opportunities for acceleration

 

Commercial Leadership

  • Prepare and negotiate customer trading terms and agreements
  • Deliver sales, profit and channel KPIs
  • Manage trade spend and investment to maximise financial outcomes
  • Build financial reporting and forecasts in partnership with Route NAE, Category, Logistics & Finance teams

 

Customer Management

  • Drive distribution expansion and NPD execution
  • Increase brand availability and ranging across channel partners
  • Grow Suntory’s customer footprint within the Foodservice, Catering and QSR segments
  • Lead national customer engagement and execution of plans

 

Joint Business Planning & RGM

  • Co‑create long‑term joint business plans with key customers
  • Work closely with Revenue Growth Management to implement effective promotional strategies
  • Consider customer P&L dynamics while negotiating powerful commercial outcomes

 

Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Demand Planning, Marketing, Category, Field Teams and Finance to deliver seamless execution
  • Work collaboratively to hit business KPIs and bring channel strategies to life
  • Champion Suntory’s Leadership Spirit behaviours across everything you do

What you bring:

We’re looking for someone with:

 

  • Prior experience in Out‑of‑Home B2B sales.
  • Proven success in national account management, commercial negotiations, and customer planning.
  • Ability to influence, build rapport and manage senior‑level customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical capability and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Experience collaborating cross‑functionally across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain & Finance.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office and sales analytics tools.
  • A commercial mindset with natural hustle, resilience and curiosity.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
  • Beverage industry or distributor experience would be highly regarded.
