The Opportunity

As the subject matter expert for finished goods inventory across the organisation, the Inventory Planning Lead is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels of finished goods across Suntory Oceania’s distribution network. Collaborating with a wide stakeholder cohort, you will focus on balancing product availability with working capital targets, minimizing stock-outs and obsolescence supporting customer service objectives through effective inventory planning and control.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and execute inventory strategies to maintain service levels while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
  • Monitor inventory KPIs (e.g. Days of Supply, Stock Write Offs, Case Fill Rate) and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory policies and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Logistics teams to align inventory plans with forecast and supply constraints.
  • Own and maintain Inventory Quality Ratio Reporting (IQR); providing in-depth insights of finished goods inventory health across the ANZ network.
  • Own the monthly inventory forecast process and ensure accurate data is presented to Supply Chain Finance.

 

Experience that you will bring

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification i.e. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business.
  • Extensive experience in Inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Knowledge of IBP/S\&OP processes and inventory optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
