The Opportunity:

An influential role in our Health, Safety & Wellness team, the role of HSW Specialist supports our Commercial and Office based employees across Australia and New Zealand.  With a shared vision of ‘Safe and Well, Everyone, Everyday’, you will be a trusted HSW partner to business Leaders. Your role will see you strengthening our safety culture, driving risk management initiatives, ensuring compliance and building capability across our Commercial operations.

 

This is an 8-month fixed term contract covering parental leave and will start in September 2026.

What you’ll do:

Key responsibilities will include:-

  • Act as the first point of contact for HSW advice & guidance across our Commercial Operations in Australia & New Zealand – this includes on the road sales teams
  • Coach, mentor and influence leaders and H&S representatives to build a positive safety culture
  • Lead risk assessments and facilitate risk management workshops
  • Identify, escalate and address areas of non-compliance
  • Design, develop & deliver engaging HSW training programmes
  • Support the capability development of leaders and H&S representatives
  • Analyse safety data & identify opportunities for improvement

What you'll bring

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical HSW expertise with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, as well as:-

  • Experience in providing Health, Safety & Well-being solutions across Corporate  environments
  • A strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility obligations
  • Proven ability to coach, influence and build trusted relationships at all levels
  • Experience developing HSW tools, resources and training programmes
  • Demonstrated success in driving behavioural safety & cultural change
  • A sound working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand health & safety legislation
  • A passion for creating safer and healthier workplaces
