The Opportunity
Supporting the next phase of our growth, we have created a new role – Head of Strategic Planning & Insights, to elevate our insight-led decision making across the organisation. This highly influential role will partner with our Executive Leadership Team to drive compelling insights that shape our strategy, drive performance and unlock growth opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
As well as leading a team of Insights professionals, this role presents as a great opportunity to build a best-in-class function from scratch, work with iconic brands and with a leadership team that is committed to growth and innovation.
What You'll Do
- Lead the organisation’s consumer and business insights function, building clear visibility of performance, trends, risks and opportunities
- Drive strategic planning and prioritisation, including annual planning and long‑range strategy, in collaboration with senior leaders
- Deliver insight‑led recommendations that inform portfolio strategy, commercial decisions, and investment choices
- Develop executive‑level dashboards, reporting and deep‑dive analysis for leadership and board discussions
- Build organisational capability in data analytics, business intelligence and insight storytelling
- Integrate multiple data sources to create a holistic view of the market, consumer, customer and business performance
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team of insights, portfolio planning and analytics specialists
- Champion a culture of evidence‑based decision making across the business
Experience you will bring
- Strong experience in strategy, commercial insights, analytics or business planning
- Proven experience influencing at executive level and driving enterprise‑wide initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders
- Outstanding strategic thinking, analytical problem‑solving and commercial acumen
- Effective executive communication, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience leading and developing high‑performing insights or analytics teams
