The Opportunity:
This is a high impact role where you will shape, embed and optimise our end to end Execution Excellence Ways of Working across the Licensed channel — bringing strategy to life in pubs, bars, restaurants, venues, and retail environments.
You will lead our 14step Strategy to Execution process, aligning annual business planning (MTP → AOP → Channel Plans) with monthly and quarterly commercial cadences. Central to this role is launching and embedding Perfect Store (PiCoS) standards, driving execution governance, enabling digital tools, and ensuring flawless strategy to shelf alignment across the channel.
What you'll lead & deliver:
- Execution Excellence & Perfect Store: Lead the end‑to‑end Execution Excellence Ways of Working, integrating MTP → AOP → Channel Plans. Partner with Shopper, Category and Channel teams to build PiCoS, Core Range and planograms. Set and govern KPIs to turn performance visibility into action and continuous improvement.
- Licensed Channel Execution: Embed Perfect Store standards across On‑Premise and Off‑Premise environments, driving year‑on‑year improvements in range, share, visibility and activation quality.
- Governance & Commercial Rhythm: Integrate Execution Excellence into RTMx, SMAP, monthly business cycles and quarterly governance forums. Maintain clear execution priorities and ensure cross‑functional alignment, resourcing and progress.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership: Connect Marketing, Sales, Shopper, Category, National Sales Planning, and Field teams to deliver seamless, coordinated activation. Ensure clear strategy‑to‑shelf alignment and accountability across all stakeholders.
- Digital Enablement: Leverage MYSH, TRAX and Sales Force Automation to lift execution quality, track coverage/compliance, and generate actionable insights. Work with Digital Sales and Sales Mobility to turn data into performance outcomes.
- Assets & Investment Governance: Lead asset placement strategy across coolers, chillers, permanent POS and post‑mix. Build and manage CAPEX/OPEX envelopes aligned to ASO, VPO, revenue priorities and return expectations.
- Performance Tracking & Reward: Partner with Sales Performance to track, report and recognise execution excellence using defined KPIs, metrics and data sources.
What you bring:
- Prior experience in Commercial, Sales, or Trade Marketing within FMCG or Beverage.
- Multi‑channel experience including Licensed, On‑Premise and Off‑Premise.
- Proven capability leading Perfect Store or retail excellence programs at scale.
- Strong analytical, numerical and commercial skills.
- Digital fluency — ideally TRAX, SFA/Mobility, and execution data tools.
- Strong communicator, highly collaborative, and comfortable influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Process‑oriented, autonomous, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
