The Opportunity

The Demand Planning Manager role is an is an exciting role, working with the Sales and Marketing teams to manage the preparation of forecasts for the Australian licensed business.

This role will manage a team of demand planners, utilising statistical forecast tools in conjunction with promotional activity to provide robust demand volumes to operations.

Communication with Key accounts / Channel managers and Marketing is equally important to a close relationship with Planning and Purchasing teams whilst supporting the development of manufacturing supply chain through our ERP system and the S&OP process, with the aim of improving supply chain responsiveness.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop Forecast for review by Sales and Marketing using available tools for a rolling 18 months
  • Provide input to monthly S&OP in the form of agreed Demand Schedule from Sales and Marketing
  • Continuously improve the Demand Planning processes and tools
  • Advise and support NPD launch schedules
  • Leading the team to deliver the strategic plan including leading, motivating and building capability to deliver an engaged, high performing team aligned to the overall direction of Supply Chain and Group Operations

What's in your toolkit?

  • A strong track record of success in a similar role.
  • Demand Planning experience within an FMCG environment
  • Exposure to SAP (APO) and/or Promax desirable, but not essential
  • Relationship building skills
  • Strong attention to detail
