The Opportunity:
As our Demand Planner, you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to deliver accurate, insightful and commercially aligned demand forecasts. You’ll combine statistical forecasting, promotional planning, product life cycle insight and market intelligence to produce a robust 18‑month outlook that drives better business decisions.
This role is perfect for someone who is curious, analytical, collaborative and excited by the challenge of supporting a fast‑paced FMCG business.
What you'll do:
- Build and maintain demand forecasts using our statistical forecasting tools and TPM feeds
- Partner with Sales & Marketing on monthly forecast reviews across AU and NZ
- Analyse forecast accuracy, challenge assumptions and refine projections
- Understand pricing, promotional activity, NPD and product lifecycle changes
- Facilitate Risk & Opportunity discussions and support IBP/S&OP processes
- Prepare and present key inputs for Channel Review and Demand Review meetings
- Drive continuous improvement across forecasting tools, processes and SOPs
- Support NPD projects — forecast build, launch tracking and contingency planning
- Ensure strong communication with key internal stakeholders to manage supply risks
- Contribute to minimising write‑offs, improving service levels and protecting supply
What you bring:
We’re looking for someone who brings the right blend of analytical capability, collaboration, and a genuine curiosity to challenge the status quo. You don’t need to tick every box — but you do need the drive to make an impact.
- Prior exposure to Demand Planning or strong transferrable skills from a similar role (Integrated planning, VRP, Supply Planning or analytical roles within operations)
- Ideally prior FMCG experience or experience within a large, complex Supply Chain environment.
- A collaborative, team‑first mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Commercial.
- A natural team player who lifts those around them and contributes to a positive, inclusive culture.
- A willingness to drive improvement, question how things are done today, and bring curiosity, fresh thinking and continuous improvement energy. This is critical to success in this role.
- Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail — able to work confidently with data, trends, and assumptions.
- Confident stakeholder management, including the ability to influence, challenge constructively and communicate clearly.
- Solid Excel capability.
Ideally you will be someone who authentically aligns to the values and Leadership Spirit of Suntory Oceania — collaborative, pioneering, customer‑centred and committed to personal growth.
What's in it for you?
