The Opportunity:
As a Commercial Finance Partner, you will work closely with the Licenced Sales team, providing both commercial and analytical support. This exciting opportunity involves business partnering across a broad range of activities and includes crucial involvement in the creation of a new Licenced Commercial Finance function within the Finance team.
Once the new Route to Market (RTM) model goes live, you will be responsible for guiding the Licensed Sales team with commercial advice and driving better decision-making. You will also help with forecasting, tracking sales performance, conducting gross-to-net analysis, and supporting the overall financial process of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up the Commercial Finance Function:
- Support Senior Commercial Manager for Day One launch processes.
- Collaborate with RGM and Commercial teams on customer P&L’s, pricing, claims, and financial governance.
- Assist with TPM tool implementation and integration into financial processes.
- Test systems with real-world scenarios and resolve gaps in Day One reporting.
Generate Insights and Analysis:
- Provide financial insights to Sales on new channels, customers, and NPD.
- Collaborate with Category and Sales teams on commercial plans.
- Partner with RGM team to improve results, including price increases and CDL.
Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of AU Net Sales (NSV).
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting and provide insightful commentary.
- Champion GM matrix reporting and ensure KPI delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our founding team ahead of our go-live in July 2025! We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Finance business partner from within the FMCG industry – with a strong preference for Licensed or Beverage sectors who is CA or CPA qualified.
With strong analytical skills and a process-driven mindset you with thrive in a fast-paced environment – it is the FMCG industry after all! You will have a proven track record in managing often competing priorities and the ability to think strategically – especially in the build phase as we lead to go-live. Having partnered non-finance people previously you will have well developed written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to influence at all levels of the business. Naturally, given your experience you will have advanced MS Excel skills with experience in using ERP systems and providing analytical support.
