About your role

You will act as the IT Business Partner for SBFAP Supply Chain, leading digital transformation across planning, manufacturing, logistics, and sustainability. In this role, you will align technology solutions with business goals, drive process optimisation, and ensure the successful adoption of digital initiatives that deliver measurable value.

What You'll Do

Strategic IT Partnership

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with Supply Chain and Digital & IT stakeholders across planning, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics.

  • Engage business partners to understand, challenge, and refine requirements, ensuring clarity and strategic alignment.

  • Promote effective stakeholder engagement and align business unit initiatives with regional systems, standards, and value chains.

  • Translate business needs into clear, well-defined technical specifications aligned with the SBFI/SBFAP Digital & IT roadmap.

Project Delivery & Governance

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on scope, on time, and with high quality.

  • Facilitate requirements workshops and lead user testing sessions as needed to ensure solution readiness.

  • Ensure full compliance with Suntory governance and security standards, while effectively managing vendor performance and relationships.

Manufacturing Technology & Industry 4.0 enablement

  • Drive the adoption of smart factory solutions, IoT connectivity, and MES/Integrated Manufacturing systems to enhance plant productivity and operational visibility.

  • Lead automation initiatives across all manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s digital transformation objectives.

  • Design and govern IT/OT integration frameworks to enable seamless connectivity between shop-floor systems, MES platforms, and SAP ERP modules (PP, QM, MM), ensuring secure, scalable integration that supports end-to-end visibility and operational excellence.

  • Partner with plant operations to identify automation opportunities and implement predictive maintenance and line performance solutions.

Change leadership & Innovation

  • Act as a change agent by introducing the “art of the possible” and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

  • Identify and drive opportunities for digitisation and automation to enhance operational excellence and business efficiency.

What You need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis, technology consulting, or IT business partnering within an agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes—including demand and supply planning, sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics—preferably within the FMCG/CPG sector.
  • Proven track record in project management, business process optimisation, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IT/OT integration, and AI applications within the supply chain is an added advantage.
  • Experience in driving digital upskilling initiatives for teams in supply chain or manufacturing environments
