About your role
The Senior Manager, Finance is a key member of the SBF GHQ Finance team, partnering closely with SBF GHQ Finance in Japan, Regional Finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic alignment, financial governance, and business performance management across the organization.
This role plays a critical part in leading financial planning and analysis activities, strengthening governance frameworks, and enhancing transparency, accountability, and decision-making across SBF GHQ functions. The position also supports strategic initiatives by providing financial insights, performance tracking, and business partnering to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and sustainable growth.
What You'll Do
Strategic Financial Planning
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and mid- to long-term financial planning across SBF GHQ functions
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business performance
Financial Governance & Performance Management
- Drive financial governance, cost allocation methodologies, and operating model improvements
- Monitor and track COGS, CAPEX, and cost-saving initiatives, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions
- Standardize financial reporting and performance tracking frameworks across regions
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for SBF GHQ functions
- Ensure timely and accurate submissions through systems such as BPC
- Manage audit activities and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Business Partnering & Regional Collaboration
- Partner closely with SBF GHQ Finance in Japan, regional finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Support strategic and transformation initiatives, including financial validation and process alignment
- Facilitate best practice sharing and strengthen regional collaboration
Operational Governance & Administration
- Oversee cross-charging, management fee allocation, and invoicing processes across regions
- Maintain organizational governance including FTE tracking, approval workflows, and finance system administration
- Ensure effective financial controls and operational governance
What You need to be successful
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 10 years of finance experience with at least 5 years in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Strong project management and action plan monitoring capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP systems
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration
