About your role
The Senior Cybersecurity Manager – Operational Technology (OT) will lead and drive the development, implementation, and governance of cybersecurity strategies across our global OT environments. This role will play a critical part in protecting our industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and IIoT infrastructure from evolving cyber threats while ensuring operational resilience and compliance.
What You'll Do
OT Security Strategy & Governance
- Develop and execute global OT cybersecurity strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements
- Lead OT risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management
- Ensure compliance with NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and local regulations
- Oversee annual IT/OT security assessments and governance frameworks
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans and manage OT cybersecurity projects
- Ensure secure integration of OT and IT networks in collaboration with IT and Engineering
- Develop and manage cybersecurity budget projections
Incident Management & Operational Security
- Oversee Cybersecurity OT-related incident response planning and execution
- Strengthen monitoring and control mechanisms across OT environments
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security posture
Stakeholder Engagement, Communication & Technical Expertise
- Facilitate effective communication across teams, executive stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and external vendors
- Provide regular status updates, reporting, and performance metrics
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness and training for plant and field personnel
What You need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity with a minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Strong knowledge of ICS/SCADA systems, PLCs, DCS, and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Profibus)
- Experience implementing and managing security tools in OT environments (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, particularly networking and Identity & Access Management (IAM), including PAM
- Familiarity with cloud-based OT architectures and edge computing security
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001)
- Relevant certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM, or ISA/IEC 62443 preferred
- Project management experience is an advantage
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, complex environments
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capability
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across diverse, multicultural business units
