As the Web3 Head of Finance, you will be responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring fiscal health, and supporting the growth of Suntory’s Web3 initiatives. You will manage financial operations, provide strategic insights, and align our financial goals with our business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the growth of Suntory's Web3 initiatives.
• Asset/Treasury Management: Oversee the management of both fiat and crypto assets, ensuring secure storage, proper valuation, and effective utilisation.
• Tax Management: Assist in managing tax matters such as FATCA and CRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis on product and platform business models, providing insights for decision-making and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with the accounting regulations of Singapore FRS and IFRS. Prepare and present accurate financial reports.
• Audit & Internal Controls: Conduct internal audits and establish robust internal controls to safeguard both fiat and crypto assets.
• Investment Strategies: Develop and oversee investment strategies, optimising returns while managing risks.
• Operational Efficiency: Streamline financial operations and accounting processes to ensure business efficiency and scalability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and relevant departments in Suntory Holdings, to offer financial insights, analyse data, and provide strategic plans.
• Reporting: Reporting monthly management accounts to the headquarter

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of work experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Hands-on knowledge and understanding of Blockchain technology, digital currencies and digital assets.
• Proven work experience in layer 1 or layer 2 companies.
• Business level English required. Language capability in Japanese is a plus.

This position will be employed under Suntory Monozukuri Expert Asia Pte Ltd.
