About your role

This role supports the development, communication, and implementation of the Global Procurement vision, objectives, and strategy for the marketing category within SBF. It is responsible for executing defined category and sourcing strategies to drive procurement transformation, positioning Suntory Procurement as a value-added business partner at both global and regional levels. The role also focuses on building strong supplier relationships to support SBF’s growth and maximizes delivery across its markets.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development and execution of global category and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Drive implementation across global, regional, and local levels, ensuring delivery of MTP targets
  • Lead cost optimization and value creation initiatives, including savings validation with Finance
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships and execute Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) processes
  • Partner with stakeholders to influence decision-making and ensure successful project delivery
  • Monitor market trends, identify risks/opportunities, and drive innovation within the category
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, risk management frameworks, and ESG standards
  • Contribute to procurement transformation, performance tracking (KPIs), and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Travel internationally and work closely with colleagues across Europe and Asia to build alignment and momentum.

What You need to be successful

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in marketing category
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field; procurement specialization is a plus
  • Strong experience in procurement operations and negotiation, with solid commercial acumen
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments, demonstrating strong collaboration and team spirit
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and data-driven approach
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Agile and proactive mindset, with the ability to think creatively and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Solid project management capabilities, with experience driving initiatives from planning to execution
  • Hands-on experience with e-procurement and ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP)
  • Industry knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
