About your role

This role is responsible for developing, communicating, and driving the implementation of the Procurement vision, objectives, and strategy for the global Logistics and Co-manufacturing category within SBF. It plays a critical role in transforming Procurement into a value-adding business partner across global and regional operations.

The position focuses on leading category transformation, strengthening supplier relationships, and delivering maximum value to SBF markets while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

This role is open to candidates based in Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand.

What You'll Do

  • Category Strategy & Execution: Develop and lead global category strategy, including sourcing plans, governance, and roadmap (MTP), ensuring alignment with business goals across cost, quality, risk, innovation, and sustainability. Drive execution across global, regional, and local levels while leveraging market intelligence and best practices.
  • Cost & Financial Management: Own financial targets and deliver cost optimization and value creation initiatives. Lead budgeting cycles (AOP/MTP), develop business cases, and track savings and procurement performance metrics.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Manage strategic supplier relationships, including SRM governance and development programs. Partner with and influence senior stakeholders to drive alignment, decision-making, and successful execution of procurement strategies.
  • Performance & Reporting: Define and monitor KPIs, ensuring effective reporting, communication, and visibility of procurement performance and value delivery.
  • Leadership & Capability Building: Lead and develop category teams through coaching, performance management, and capability building, while fostering collaboration across regions, functions, and business units.
  • Market Intelligence, Risk & ESG: Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify risks and opportunities. Drive innovation and continuous improvement, lead risk management and business continuity planning, and embed ESG and sustainability initiatives into category strategy.

What You need to be successful

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or economics discipline (procurement specialization is a plus)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, including 7–8 years in procurement with strong category expertise
  • Prior management experience and industry knowledge are advantageous
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

  • Proven experience in change management and working within matrix organizations
  • Leadership and people development experience in cross-cultural environments

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Solid experience in strategic sourcing and category management
  • Strong knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, e-procurement tools)
  • Experience in coalition building and driving business alignment
