We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Corporate Affairs Executive to join our team at Suntory Beverage & Food Asia Pacific. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in embedding the Suntory culture, strengthening of Suntory corporate branding and building of employee pride through implementation of the APAC communications strategy and organizing employee engagements. You will report directly to Vice President, Corporate Affairs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Content Creation and Editing 
    • Assist in creating and editing content for internal newsletters, company announcements, and other communication channels.
    • Ideate, develop and produce quality creative audio-visual assets that can be used to enhance the quality of communications with an emotional connection, a more immersive and engaging experience.
  • Social Media Management: 
    • Help manage our social media platforms by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries.
    • Stay informed about social media trends and suggest relevant content ideas.
  • Event Coordination: 
    • Support the planning and execution of company events, including townhalls, leadership sessions, team building activities and employee recognition programmes. 
    • Assist with logistics, invitation and communication materials. 
    • Conduct surveys and interviews to gather employee feedback and identify areas of improvement.
  • Internal Communication: 
    • Contribute to internal communication campaigns, such as employee surveys, wellness programs, and change management initiatives.
    • Ensure timely information shared on internal communication platforms 
  • External Communication: 
    • Assist in drafting external communication materials
    • Compile relevant coverage reports for internal reporting 
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional teams: 
    • Work closely with marketing, HR and other departments to align communication efforts. 
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings and brainstorming sessions. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, tone, and presentation for all key internal communications materials 
    • Liaise and coordinate closely with local business units and their activities by providing communication support where required. 
  • Corporate Affairs Centre of Excellence: 
    • Contribute to the maintaining of consistent corporate identity and branding through education, communication, oversight, and enforcement of standards
    • Support the creation and socialization of regional comms strategy, toolkits and guidance for major announcements and campaigns
    • Contribute to the creation of centralized content depository where local and regional teams lift and shift for their own market needs.
       

Skills and Experience

  • A degree in Public Relations and Communications or its equivalent
  • Two to three years of experience in communications, CSR, corporate culture building in either an in-house corporate affairs or a PR agency role
  • Experience in ideating and producing creative communications materials
  • Experience in project management and employee engagement is a big plus
  • Proactive self-starter, a team player and has an outgoing personality.
  • Diplomatic, loves to be around people and engaging people comes naturally!
  • Sensitive to wide ranging cultural norms.
  • Strong communication skills and good social media awareness.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Has an eye for details with excellent organizational/ administrative abilities.
