Job Summary

Suntory Berage & Food International (SBFI) is step changing its SAP system landscape across the globe and moving to a single instance strategy with a fit-to-standard approach to the functional design. As we transform to a more integrated One Suntory organisation, we would like to step change our technology platforms to be more integrated and consistently executed across all our markets. The SBFI S/4HANA Supply Chain Lead is responsible to drive the standardisation of Supply Chain functions in conjunction and lead the delivery of the S/4HANA Supply Chain template with our appointed System Integrator across all markets in Asia Pacific and Europe. The individual will also work with the Supply Chain Leadership Team to continue to evolve the company’s best practices to meet the business needs. The role is both technically and business process oriented and requires strong hands-on skills and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver complex SAP transformation programmes using Central Finance as a Steppingstone to full S/4HANA adoption.

Job Responsibilities

• Align with existing team members and other workstream leads to ensure that all deliverables are produced in accordance with quality standards
• Understand the current state of Supply Chain BU, understand gaps & barriers to adopt the best practices / Biz Cases and develop an action plan with the BU to change
• Work with stakeholders of supply chain to identify and opportunities for process improvement
• Ensure that the capabilities of S/4HANA are fully explained to all Supply Chain Leaders/Controllers/Team members, therefore a detailed knowledge of core Supply in the context of both core S/4HANA and Central Finance, is critical
• Ensure the development of existing SAP resources to enable progression and knowledge transfer, to create the future IT core team.
• Provide detailed inputs into defining the Master Data Governance strategy for all Supply Chain related objects, as Suntory moves to a more globally centralised framework and operating model.
• Work with external vendors to drive change and realise Business Case benefits across the S/4HANA Supply Chain Workstream.
• Manage the day-to-day risks & issues associated with delivering a global Supply Chain template across multiple geographies following a fit-to-standard approach.
• Provide status updates in accordance with the governance cadence for the Supply Chain workstream, in conjunction with the selected System Integrator.
• Provide thought leadership in product selection for key capabilities and functionality to help realise the end-state system capabilities.

Skills and Experience

• 10 to 15 years of experience in S/4HANA Supply Chain Workstream senior lead position.
• The candidate will need to bring deep knowledge of S/4HANA Supply Chain capabilities, to align on the end-state design and approach.
• Knowledge and experience of delivering SAP Transformation via Central Finance as a Steppingstone to full S/4HANA adoption is critical.
• Led SAP Supply Chain process transformation initiative and thorough understanding of SAP project delivery methodologies is a fundamental requirement.
• Strong team-lead experience of implementing complex transformation along with a deep understanding of the common problems encountered when working across multiple time zones.
• Past project experience in delivering technology transformation via a global deployment is essential.
• Business Process Knowledge: Understanding business processes and workflows across various domains. Thorough understanding of the core business processes.
• Strong experience in managing external vendors, preferably with experience of working in either one of the big 4 or a similar Tier 1 System Integrator.
• Vendor Management: work with external vendors for implementation or support. Experience in vendor management, including service level agreements (SLAs), vendor performance evaluation.
