Job Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing total SPVB Commercial control and accounting operations to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective financial and management reporting system in accordance with SPVB policy and local requirements. Provide stewardship of assets, operations and financial compliances by assessing risks and designing processes and controls for total Order to Cash (incl. DMP, CDA, MEM, DMS, Credit policy, Trade settlements and AR management) to deliver key financial KPIs, mainly Revenue, Cost control, NOPBT and Cash flow.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Process Management and Reporting
- Oversee operations of total SPVB Commercial Control processes, eg. Credit policy, SO processing, Trade settlement, AR and MEM management, to ensure timely, accurate and effective control of the related financial process and reporting KPIs, incl Revenue, D&A, COGS, WC/OCF, DPO, DSO, AR and MEM...
- Lead monthly Commercial reports and BSR review to timely solve complex issues and build capabilities to ensure compliance
- Deeply understand E2E company processes and controls. Develop strategies and process/control designs to protect company assets and mitigate financial risks to deliver key financial KPIs, ie. Revenue, Cost control, NOPBT and Cash flow.
- Effectively utilize IT systems to drive productivity and process improvement
Financial and Operating Control
- Provide stewardship of assets, operations and financial compliance with SPVB and statutory requirements
- Extensive understanding of functional process streams (incl. S2C, DMP, CDA, MEM, DMS, Credit policy, Trade settlements and AR management) and ability to provide overall direction on the company's process and control designs balancing risks and benefits to the business.
- Design and articulate applicable corporate policies and standards
- Drive the proportional ownership and process compliance to uphold SPVB Tone and Value.
Business Partner and Process Efficiency
- In tune with Sales business partner to support the decision making by advising the financial and control implications to drive commercial growth in a sustainable way.
- Partner with Sales functions in preparations and periodic reviews of AOP, OR, Opex and Capex control… and provide control advices to increase cost effectiveness and process enhancements
- Lead a simplified and efficient SOA/POA and the implementation of policies, SOP and applications that improve the accuracy, efficiency and automation of business process and reporting systems
Organization and Capability Building
- Develop team capability on technical tax and accounting competencies; SPVB policies and controls through effective training, coaching and best practice sharing
- Oversee the operations of the Commercial control function, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving business objectives and developing Finance/Control talents
Skills and Experience
- BA or MA degree in Accounting/Auding/Finance. Minimum 10 years of related financial experiences for a major company/corporation
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS, VAS, taxation regulations, commercial laws.
- Strong business acumen, risk assessment and controlling. Demonstrated ability to partner and communicate effectively with line management and business partners.
- Efficiently multitask in a fast paced environment where priorities may change
- Strong leadership, influent and people management skills.
- Fluent English speaking and writing skill
- High-level analytic skills and competent in ERP, DMS, MEMS and other applications
