About your role
- Lead & develop capabilities of Category Strategy Team to ensure the deliveries on business agenda
- Develop annual and long-term strategic and investment plans for all categories across channels and regions, based on brand marketing strategy, consumer trends, shopper insights, and macroeconomic impacts.
- Review the implemented strategies on a monthly basis, assess the effectiveness of promotions and investments, and make timely course corrections to ensure strong business leadership and sustainable growth.
What You'll Do
1. Category Development for all channel (TT, MT, AFH, Ecom)
- Develop Annual & Long-term Strategy based on brands' 6Ps (pack/price/product/proposition/promotion/place) transferred from Marketing Strategies, Consumer Trend, Shopper Insight & Macro-impacts
- Lead Volume/ Value Growth by developing LRBs investment priority matrix & plan by Category/Sub-category / Channels and Geography with long run activity calendar via consumer/shopper/category trend analysis
- Ensure AOP achievement by closely tracking monthly progress and co-work with TMKT Dev to identify the gap & proposing action plans to win competitors & maximize volume & value achievement
- Develop Promotion strategy with guideline of CPC for 3-6-9-12 month calendar in TT; TOT direction & Shopper/ Consumer Engagement for all channels/ occasions
- Lead the Monthly ComEx Forum to update external and internal performance of category and brand to ensure close monitor of category investment & strategy
- Monthly/Quarterly evaluate the Promotion efficiency/ Trade Activities with RGM to reflect promotion strategy, tracking investment vs. strategy
2. Deliver successful NPD & PPA/ Category initiatives/ Thematic campaigns to accelerate growth of category.
- In charge of planning Category initiatives and Thematic campaigns with investment planning by category and by channel with Marketing; and transfer the plan to TMKT Dev for execution
- Key stakeholder in NPD&PPA project:
+ Provide commercial feasibility (market size of prize break by channel, channel feasibility and NPD traffic) during stage gate 1
+ Leading role in Trade plan and Budget proposal for stage gate 2 with 6-month forecast, 12-18 months vision, and supported by Channel Strategy for PICOS and Pricing index/Mix by RGM
+ Leading role in building Launch plan and communicate to TMKT Dev, TMKT Op, CD MT, CD OP
+ Transfer launch plan to TMKT Dev and monitor progress with TMKT Dev for driving KPIs
+ Deliver Post Launch Evaluation for lesson learned and roadmap for NPD/ PPA
3. Enterprise Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead as Enterprise Leaders—champion decisions and actions that transcend functional boundaries, shaping the organization’s future with a holistic, company-wide perspective.
- Lead functional budget planning and cascade relevant approved budgets to Customer Development in alignment with company priorities.
- Build and empower high-performing teams, ensuring engagement, capability development, and accountability for business objectives.
- Proactively identify and analyze opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and ways of working, driving initiatives that improve productivity and organizational agility.
4. Others:
- Other ad-hoc requests to support business
- Other tasks as assigned by Line Manager

- University graduation in economics or relevant disciplines
- At least 10 years of work experience in Sales/ Marketing/ Trade Marketing, FMCG and Marketing background preferred.
- Good understanding of Trade and RTM process.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Leadership, proactive and result-oriented.
- Proficient English
- Competent computer skill - Excel, PowerPoint
