About your role

What You'll Do

'1. Financial Transaction Processing and Financial Reporting
• Monitor the material landed cost, production process orders (PO), yield analysis… to ensure accounting and process compliance for DOP, CTP and Copackers. Analyze costing and manufacturing reports and address the issues, together with driving corrective actions to resolve the issue.
• Check landed cost report and analyze the actual vs. standard cost variance, discuss with Procurement, Planning and OPSC to ensure process and accounting improvement
• Weekly review PO status (confirm quantity, TECO status, reservation closing...), follow up with plant team for CAPA on material loss issue. Check Yield report weekly and complete full month yield analysis by MEC with comprehensive yield variance comments and work with OPSC team to correct wrong BOM or wrong process order. Review QC report to see any KPI incompliance (Brix, Net content)
• Understanding of components, underlying data sources and process flows in the system and effectively utilize information systems to support decision making, including implementation of system enhancements and new technologies to drive efficiency and control automation
• In-charge closing activities for 2 plants: Cost center closing, PO status check, Activity type, PO testing, confirm final production volume etc
 
2. Financial and Operating Control and Asset Stewardship
• Safeguard company assets by continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls for all manufacturing costing management, QC compliance…
• Support GCS agenda by performing self-tests, GEMBA; providing analysis support to assess business risk exposure and mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance.
3. Business Partner and Process Efficiency
• In tune with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning partners to ensure correct costing and manufacturing accounting and allocation
• Support GCS refreshment and compliance review for related I2C, P2P and M2M

What You need to be successful

  • University graduate, major in Accounting & at least 3-year experience in similar roles "
  • Strong technical understanding and knowledge including accounting standard, tax, legislation, company policy and procedures.
  • Strong system knowledge and fluent usage of ERP system (SAP)"
  • Good Excel and other Microsoft Office Skill (e.g Pivot Table, charts, Dashboard, PowerPoint, Power BI) 
  • Good communication, problem solving & influencing skill
  • Ability to lead the agenda, initiate and implement best practice tool/processes to improve effectiveness in daily operation. Able to work under pressure, independently with minimal supervision
