Senior Blower & Filler Operator - Saraburi Plant

Job Summary :

The Senior Blower and Filler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and setup of high-speed Blower (Blow Molding) and Filler machinery. This role ensures that all products are filled and packaged according to quality standards and production schedules. The Senior Operator acts as a technical resource, training junior staff and troubleshooting complex issues.

Responsibilities :

  • Equipment Operation and Monitoring:

    • Operate, monitor, and adjust the Blow Molder machine to produce plastic bottles (e.g., PET) of the required quality and specification.

    • Operate and oversee the Filler and Seamer/Capper machines to ensure accurate liquid fill levels and secure capping/sealing.

    • Perform regular checks of machine parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, speed, fill volume) to maintain optimal performance.

  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

    • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and minor electrical issues on the blower and filler equipment promptly to minimize downtime.

    • Execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and work orders as scheduled.

    • Liaise with maintenance technicians for complex repairs and assist during major overhauls.

  • Quality Control (QC):

    • Conduct frequent quality checks on bottles (e.g., thickness, clarity, burst strength) and finished product (e.g., fill height, cap torque, label placement).

    • Document all production and QC data accurately in the required logs or systems.

  • Setup and Changeovers:

    • Perform quick and efficient changeovers between different product formats, molds, and bottle types, including cleaning and sanitation procedures (CIP/COP).

    • Set up and optimize machine programs for new production runs.

  • Safety and Training:

    • Adhere strictly to all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and procedures.

    • Act as a mentor and trainer for less experienced operators, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.

Skills and Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating and troubleshooting high-speed Blower and Filler equipment, preferably in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical packaging industry.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude.

    • Proficiency in reading and understanding equipment manuals, schematics, and P&IDs.

    • Experience with PLC controlled equipment and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) operation.

    • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP principles.
