Senior Manager, Operation - Rayong Plant
Job Summary:
This position has role and responsibilities to manage, direct, control and assist the process systems (CSD/RTD and WTP) and packaging section (Blow Mold, Silo, Unscrambles and Airveyors, etc.) of a plant. To execute and ensure the performance, productivity, and efficiency of production operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies. Building Team and develop people capabilities to be Operation Excellence.
Accountabilities:
• Manage and control all activities in production line towards the achievement of the objective in producing continuously the required volume of simple syrups and/or beverage, effectively at optimum cost and with the right quality standards and KPI target.
• Ensure all equipment and machine components in the CSD-RTD Process, Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Blow Mold areas are in good operating condition and addresses the problems encountered with regards to their performance correctly.
• Report and collaborate with Production Manager about work orders for any deficiencies encountered in the performance of the equipment and formulates corrective and preventive measures, until everything is back to normal operation.
• Monitor the daily process operations stoppages monitoring (POSM) and materials usage reports then, gives proper directions to his subordinates for possible improvement.
• Analyze production volume data and explain to the Production Manager any untoward incidents in the operation and abnormalities in the product, using traceability procedures, if necessary.
• Manage and control effectiveness of the preventive maintenance and other measures are operated in accordance with the standard operational procedures and set by Engineering group for the machine’s efficiency and optimal operation and utilization.
• Develop team members’ performance, offering feedback, leading experience that demonstrate effective planning skills an ability to manage and control progress towards goals.
• Deliver and support in all activities in achieving goals and quality programs regarding Quality Foods Safety, Material management, Environment Health & Safety standards, ISO and Plant requirements.
Skills and Experience :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Food science, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and other related Engineering.
• 5+ years of proven experience in PET manufacturing process and beverage manufacturing process in term of supervisory with Production team.
• Understanding the concepts of management systems, food, beverage, chemical technology, and water Treatment technology.
• Good people management skill, Team Building and team co-ordination with other.
• Good knowledge of Production Management, Production techniques, Equipment, Tooling.
• Good knowledge of Problem solving, Kaizen, TPM, Lean manufacturing or Six sigma is an advantage.
• Strong leaderships, communication, and negotiation skill.
• Good command of spoken and written English and computer literacy.
