Senior Manager, Cost Analysis and Excise Tax - Rayong Plant

Job Summary :

Analyzes a company’s cost or the use of available resources and reports such analysis to management for decision-making and control.

Accountabilities :

 

  • To conduct cost variance analysis of products, and highlight deviation; distribute to all department heads and follow-up with concerned departments to corrective actions
  • Provides timely and verifies the standard cost of raw material, packaging material and finished goods on monthly basis and on request.
  • Directs and verifies the new material master data creation to ensure the correct information.
  • Directs and verifies the BOM changes/creation for standard and production version to ensure the correct information.
  • Prepares and verifies the costing areas which related balance sheet positions on correctness and completeness at every month-end closing.
  • Responsible for the accounting month-end related transactions for inventory and costing
  • Performs other duties or participate in productivity projects as assigned by the Plant Finance Manager.
  • Supporting both external and internal audit on costing related requests.
  • Participates in all activities in achieving goals and quality programs regarding Quality Foods Safety, Environment Health & Safety standards, ISO and Plant requirements.
  • Push the HSE policy has setting by Plant manager to achieve effective results; support to produce documents under HSE compliance document is as effective as the standard. Together with top executives analyze the context of the company strategic direction and HSE assessment of the organization will be encouraging continuous improvement of HSE management. Performs the duties of administration and training in accordance with the Legal / other requirements and SPBT procedure on HSE.

Skills and and Experience :

  • Bachelor or master’s Degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 3 years experiences in accounting.
  • CPA and experience with ERP accounting systems and processes. Knowledge of SAP/R3 is an advantage.
  • Good understanding and skills of Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving, communication skills, imitative, interpersonal skills, systematic thinking, detail-oriented, Ability to work independently, and under pressure
