Senior Manager, Cost Analysis and Excise Tax - Rayong Plant

Job Summary :

The  Cost Analyst & Excise Tax will report to Costing and Excise Tax Manager and hands on experience with inventory management, financial analysis, accurate recording & reporting of inventory movement and a clear understanding of manufacturing process and its components in compliance with Company’s policies and generally accepted accounting principles.  Prepare excise tax related report, co-ordinate with Excise officer and improve control process for SPBT warehouse and production lines to comply with Excise Tax requirement.  

Accountabilities :

•    Monitor inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness, assisting with process definitions and procedures implementations through pro-active training and effective communication with clerical as well as managerial personnel at plants.
•    Works closely with Operations to ensure adequate inventory controls which defined in GCS MIM cycle are being maintained and followed. Ensure that mistakes, inaccuracies, and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.
•    Co-lead with operations to conduct monthly physical count for all direct material, Spare part, and Operation supplies. Assure that physical inventory is adequately controlled and effectively communicate this to all appropriate parties. Achieve a minimum of 95% inventory record accuracy.
•    Monitor and evaluate inventory usage & costs, validate, and set up monthly inventory reserve to comply with company policy and meet month end closing schedule.
•    Prepare and analyze monthly Balance Sheet break-up reports for all inventory account.  Assure that all inventories are properly recorded and accounted for in the General Ledger.
•    Prepare excise tax report for submission.
•    Ensure a complete Excise Audit.
•    Supporting both external and internal on inventory related requests 
•    Performs related work as assigned and assists with special projects and other departments.
•    Support affiliate companies with process definitions, procedures implementation, training, audit/tax requirement and efficient operations.
•    Participates in all activities in achieving goals and quality programs regarding Quality Foods Safety, Environment Health & Safety standards, ISO, and Plant requirements. Executives analyze the context of the company strategic direction and HSE assessment of the organization will be encouraging continuous improvement of HSE management. Performs the duties of administration and training in accordance with the Legal / other requirements and SPBT procedure on HSE. HSE risk and opportunity evaluation, responsible with Safety officer in law. (Supervisor level)

 

Skills and and Experience :

  • Bachelor or master’s Degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 3 years experiences in accounting.
  • CPA and experience with ERP accounting systems and processes. Knowledge of SAP/R3 is an advantage.
  • Good understanding and skills of Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving, communication skills, imitative, interpersonal skills, systematic thinking, detail-oriented, Ability to work independently, and under pressure
