Procurement Supervisor - Indirect (Rayong Plant)

Job Summary :

To manage the relationship with all suppliers, start from providing the needs and KPI to supplier and supporting the implementation of plant category project and activities as followings;

  • Localize spare part
  • Standardization of both plants such as PPE, Consumables
  • Repair & Maintenance harmonization

Also coaching temporary procurement staff and user for P2P process, delivery the productivity to the company, develop and establish business relationships with diverse suppliers, support lead and execution of category management (strategy management) in 2 plants, and drive supplier performance, demand management savings, and increasing category compliance.

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Sourcing for new vendors to minimize purchasing cost and improve service quality
  • Ensure the delivery of goods and services as plan
  • Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing. (Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company. Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality)
  • Monitor and tracking procurement team to follow P2P, Procurement Policy and Code of Conduct
  • Ensure commercial, legal, GMP, Food Safety and compliances in all the procurement transactions
  • Drive Procurement cost saving productivity and process improvement such as Category management, catalog.
  • Control team to strictly follow system and company regulation, work with safety to minimize accidences and economic equipment utilization.
  • To monitoring user/procurement performance by Tracking report (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Manage supplier relationships and execute supplier performance management techniques in accordance with standards and guidelines
  • Meet regularly with divisional customers and lead functions to ensure superior customer satisfaction and continuous improvement for efficiencies
  • Policy Adherence – Ensure that all procurement is carried out in an ethical and controlled manner in line with procurement policy and procedures. Assist with the ongoing review of Procurement practices and procedures in conjunction with the Regional Manager

Data management about machine, equipment, spare part, and supplies used in the industry, and the companies that sell them (To analyzes and compares their products and prices. Once appropriate vendors are selected, the engineer negotiates sales agreements with them to purchase their products.)

Skills and Experiance :

•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or other related field.
•    Experience in sourcing strategy development is a plus
•    Strong knowledge in Engineering  field including supplier performance evaluation
•    Good understanding of procurement systems – spend visibility, contract management, Indirects spend capture tools
•    Providing input into the efficiencies, procedures and effectiveness of an evolving Internal Controls organization in term of procurement process.
•    Cost structure / break down analysis skills
•    Knowledge of Procurement related business processes, including market analysis, project management, commercial negotiations and contracting
•    Strong ability of communication with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
