Operation Supervisor - Rayong plant
Job Summary
- The role of the position is to effectively lead and manage the Packaging line towards the achievement of its objectives, to efficiently serve the logistics group of its distribution volume requirements at optimum cost with high quality standards.
- It is responsible for guiding the team to a common goal, trust and commitment by continuous motivation and effective communication within other employees in the plant.
- It is expected that there is commitment to achieve corporate vision and align all activities and plans of the Packaging line towards this vision.
- To internalize within the department, SPBT Corporate Vision, Core Values and Quality Policy.
- To ensure compliance by the department to all productivity programs (GMP, ISO, HACCP, and 5S) of the plant.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervises, plans and arrangement all activities in the Packaging line towards the achievement of the objective in producing continuously the required volume of full goods, effectively and at optimum cost and with meet quality standards and KPI target.
- Ensure that all equipment and machine components in the Packaging line are in good operating condition and addresses the problems encountered with regards to their performance correctly.
- Generates work orders for any deficiencies encountered in the performance of the equipment.
- Prepares purchase requisitions for the materials and other supplies needed in the Packaging area.
- Plans and Coordinates the daily activities such as:
- Supply of beverage from process
- Production Schedules
- Startup / shutdown of line equipment
- Package, flavor, or batch change
- Supply of packaging material
- Support departments.
- Ensures the implementation of HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), security and safety, Environmental program and good PERSONAL HYGEINE practices.
- Conducts regular evaluation of his subordinate’s performance through direction and counseling.
- Reviews the daily production report and evaluate performances for possible improvements.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or other related Engineering Profession. (Or Diplomas of Mechanical, Electrical or other related Technical Professional. Minimum of 3 years experience in PET manufacturing process)
- Understanding of fundamental of equipment, knowledge of problem solving and preventive/corrective maintenance concept
- Possess technical knowledge in the following:
- Stretch – Blow molding technology
- Beverage Filling technology
- Packaging technology (Packer machine, Labeler, Palletizer)
- Maintenance Engineering
- Familiar with production planning and control.
- With good working and moral attitude.
- Good command of spoken and written English and computer literate
