CIP Operator - Rayong Plant
Job Summary :
- To prepare the required volume of simple syrup and beverage mix for the production requirement in the most efficient, clean, sanitary manner and of high-quality standards as specified.
- The position is responsible for the position of the water treatment facilities, the treatment of the required volume of water demanded by the plant operations in conformance with the quality standards set by the company. This is to ensure the continuous supply of the treated water in the most efficient, sanitary and safe manner.
- The role of the position is to effectively lead the Process Systems (Beverage and WTP) towards the achievement of its objectives, to efficiently serve the Packaging group of its production volume requirements at optimum cost with the right quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
1. To be able to work both in beverage process and water treatment plant including working as Syrup supervisor when necessary
2. Coordinates with filler operator and Quality Control Technician on the availability of good beverage.
3. Calculate the required sugar before syrup preparation.
4. Monitors and records operating parameters such as temperature and brix of the simple syrup and occasionally re-checks them by actual sampling in coordination with the Quality Control.
5. Monitors the continuous preparation of the simple syrup, its operating parameters and conditions during dissolution of sugar and filtration of simple syrup.
6. Adjust control set points of the unit if necessary to attain the desired conditions and standards of the simple syrup and flavored syrup and records in worksheet.
7. Checks the availability of the production materials for the next production schedule based on the schedule provided by the supervisor. Gives feedback to the Syrup supervisor and Materials Section for any insufficient stock.
8. Reports immediately to the Syrup supervisor for any problem/s encountered in the performance of the equipment or other untoward situation that needs outright attention.
9. Performs troubleshooting in case of minor problems encountered and coordinate with assigned engineering technician for any electrical and electronic problem.
10. Checks the availability of the necessary materials for the treatment and regeneration of the softener, such as chlorine, sodium chloride and so on.
11. Checks conditions of the facilities such as the pumps, gauges, pipes, tanks and other auxiliary equipment.
12. Checks and records the quality of the water and do the entire necessary test such as residual chlorine, conductivity.
13. Monitors the operating parameters such as the pressure delivered by the pumps, the flow rate of the water and the condition of the RO plant.
14. Regularly monitors the conductivity of RO water, to know whether the system is ready for clean or replace.
15. Cleaning and sanitizing follow the quality plan
16. Assist assigned engineering personnel or any activities related to repairs and / or maintenance of the equipment in the water treating area.
17. Reports to Syrup supervisor for any problem encountered in the performance of equipment or other untoward situation.
18. Ensure that all equipment and machine components in the Process areas are in good operating condition and addresses the problems encountered with regards to their performance correctly.
19. Participates in all activities in achieving goals and quality programs regarding Quality Foods Safety, Environment Health & Safety standards, ISO and Plant requirements.
20. Operate under HSE regulations with awareness according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instruction (WI) company usage personal protective equipment (PPE) according to the company. It is used in various areas and practice and cooperate in achieving the QHSE metrics and goals of the department or related department to support the QHSE policy. Attend training and emergency practice as schedule is set by the company, ready for internal and external monitoring of QHSE in conjunction with the supervisor to assess the risks and environmental aspect impacts.
Skills and Experience :
1. Bachelor degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and other related Engineering
2. Have possess technical knowledge in the following:
- Food, Beverage and Chemical technology
- Water Treatment technology
- Process Engineering
3. Familiar with production planning and control.
4. With good working and moral attitude.
5. Good command of spoken and written English and computer literacy.
