Assistant Manager, Workplace Services - Rayong Plant
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager, Workplace Services supports the Associate Director, People & Culture Business Partner in managing facilities, administration, and workplace initiatives at the Rayong plant. The role ensures compliance with company policies, oversees outsourced services, maintains security systems, and manages administrative expenses in line with the AOP. It also leads CAPEX projects for workplace renovations to enhance the overall employee experience and workplace standards, and works closely with the plant team to coordinate incoming visitors, ensuring a safe, efficient, and engaging work environment.
Job Responsibilities :
Security System Management

Manage site security procedures, gate pass regulations, and internal investigations.

Coordinate with police for legal issues when required.

Oversee performance of security guards, access control, and CCTV systems.
Outsourced Services Control

Monitor services of contractors (janitorial, security, gardening, transport, waste, canteen, etc.).

Support bidding, service agreement reviews, renewals, and terminations.

Assess service provider performance regularly and resolve service issues to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
Reporting & Budgeting

Prepare weekly/monthly reports on outsourced hours, cost comparisons, waste volume, etc.

Develop annual budgets and actual expense reports for admin operations, tools, and equipment.
Administrative Tasks

Lead CAPEX projects for workplace renovation (interior/exterior) ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.

Coordinate visitor management (local/international), including e-permit letters, meeting rooms, audio setup, and catering.

Design internal communications via infographics using LINE Office Account.

Create service requests for repairs and coordinate with Engineering for timely resolution.

Handle general admin tasks to ensure smooth operations, accurate billing, and strong HR support.
Glass Control
-
Conduct surveys and maintain inventory/layout of glass and fiber objects under HR’s scope (e.g., bulbs, doors, windows).
Support for Management Systems

Assist in 5S, OHS, and maintain compliance with FSC22000, ISO45001, ISO14001.

Identify compliance risks, support gap closure plans, and promote a safety-first culture.

Maintain HSE records and coordinate with regulators during inspections.
Skills and Responsibilities :

Bachelor's degree in general management or other related fields.

At least 7 years working experience in General Administration, Plant Assistant or related fields.

Good human relations, positive attitude, good planning, decision-making and communication skills and knowledge of problem solving techniques.

Good command of both written and spoken English with good computer proficiency.

Service mind, proactive, self-motivator and a team player.

Fast learner, dynamic, active and service minded.

Skilled in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Canva for infographic design is a plus.
