Commercial Excellence Manager

Job Summary

The Commercial Excellence (COMEX) Manager drives strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and effective team leadership to ensure the company's growth and profitability.
He/She will be responsible for delivering volume, revenue, share, shopper KPIs by developing and overarching view of how our brands show up in channels, bridging between sales and marketing, and integrating efforts within sales function for a more coordinated, integrated and agile, and also upskilling and coaching teams in each country on best practice Commercial Excellence process, behaviors and tools.
 

Job Responsibilities

Revenue Growth Management

  • Drive strategic planning, data-driven decision making and effective leadership to ensure Suntory Beverage & Food Hong Kong (SBFH) topline growth and profitability through effective and efficient Revenue Growth Management Strategies and enabling Core Brand Innovation.
  • Build Revenue Growth Management (RGM) five level strategy (PPA/Mix, Promo Optimization, Trading Terms) and realize implementation plan in line with SBFH Commercial Excellence ambition and to deliver RGM KPIs in SBFH
  • Collaborate with Head of Cluster Asia Comex Team Store and SBFH marketing team to translate the brand strategy into in-store through 5Ps, with a focus on Price & Promotion while giving inputs on the product, place and Point of Sales Marketing (POSM) Message (5P = Product, Price, Place, Promo and POSM message)
  • Define must win channels rationale and craft channel strategies with optimal trade investment 
  • Build SBFH RGM mid-term plan (MTP) and annual operating plan (AOP) 

Integrated Business Planning  

  • Person-In-Charge for SO M+3 S&OE forecast and Long term forecast for M+24 mth
  • Provide baseline offtake calculation among channels and craft right ROI for rebate investment on channels
  • Responsible for establishing SO AOP in volume and Net Sales Value (NSV)

Skills and Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Marketing or Economics)
  • 5+ years of solid work experience in sales planning/ revenue growth management in FMCG/retail industry
  • Has had exposure to multiple aspects of the business covering finance, sales, marketing
  • Strong business acumen with an analytical mind
  • Good brand and distribution awareness
  • Strong coordination skills & excellent Cross-functional communication with different parties
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent command in both verbal and written English and Chinese 
  • Proactive to deliver work excellence
  • Good Project management knowledge with regional exposure
