Procurement Manager - Direct - Raw Material and Secondary Packaging

About your role
What You'll Do
Planning
- Lead alignment (both challenge and support sides) with stakeholders on demand planning which well reflect market intelligence & capture business needs.
- Proactively participate & leverage market intelligence to give input on budget development phase to support strategic goals.
- Maintain dialogue platform/process with stakeholders to ensure information are updated on any changes and adjust the plan accordingly.
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
- Lead team through internal and external analysis and apply sourcing levers (Demand management, Consolidate spend, Best cost model, TCO - total cost of ownership, etc.) to define category strategy, sourcing solutions & supply plan for in charge categories that ensure the assurance of supply, world class quality, best-in-class costs and competitive positioning
- Cooperate with planning to develop supplier capability footprint for key materials/services (2-3 years)
- Ensure smooth implementation of sourcing strategies by team members.
- Anticipate the sourcing risks, especially risks when inducing new suppliers and develop action plan or standard procedures to mitigate risks to business.
- Lead team to build up strong portfolio strategies for Raw Materials especially strategic commodities Sugar/ HFCS to ensure flexibility level to support business agenda as well as extend the support to other teams
- Lead team and cross functions projects and full accountability for productivity projects of Raw Materials
Supplier selection
- Directly lead complex negotiation especially with key/strategic suppliers by well prepared negotiation plan, advance market knowledge application and balancing legal risk and commercial objectives.
- Guide and lead team to negotiate in other situations.
Contract Management
- Facilitate contract execution with key category suppliers to ensure that required terms and conditions are included and that contract termination dates are tracked and managed.
Supplier Management
- Monitor/Evaluate the supply base regularly and lead team to continuously look for opportunities to rationalize the number of suppliers.
- Develop a supplier management program with key suppliers including metrics, performance goals and improvement initiatives.
- Lead action plan alignment for improvement of low performance suppliers. Prepare back-up supplier within 03 months after evaluation result.
- Segment the suppliers into different groups based on their characteristics and develop strategies to manage relationship with those suppliers accordingly.
Procedure Compliance & Enhancement
- Ensure the team well acknowledge on procurement risks and comply Procurement Policy and SOP with no violation.
- Lead team in GCS self-test activity, and develop and tracking CAPA to anticipate compliance issues
- Review and providing insights to Process Executive and leadership team to recommend on change for simplify and sustain Procedure.
People development
- Leverage management experience to build skills in collaboration and working effectively with cross functions members to deliver the goals successfully.
- Provide training session for process/policy updates to all staffs, on-job coaching to new staffs and guidance to under-performed staffs.
- Promote team bonding and engage team members to work and co-operate with others effectively in order to achieve strategic goals and business plans
Procurement Transformation
- Be a champion for Atlas in VN as aligned agenda with SBFI
- Lead E-sourcing roll out and any upgrade later on
- Other transformation projects
What You need to be successful
Bachelor’s degree in Busines, Supply Chain Management or related field
