Key Accounts Manager

ABOUT YOU

You will own the Distributor Management that enables the development and maximisation of distribution, volume sales, revenue, and profitability of your market. 

 

  • Support and work closely with local distributor(s) to ensure the success of the business 
  • Monitor Distributor performance and compliance, take corrective actions when needed 
  • Ensure effective communication and partnership building             
  • Reinforce the account strategy and ensure executional excellence (commercial & marketing initiatives) based on the annual plan 
  • Organise regular business reviews with customers / outlets as well as periodic market/trade visit (Customer & Consumer focus) 
  • Ensure that complaints are followed up internally 

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

  • Support sales programs with detailed market initiatives/ develop local programs to meet local needs. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate input to build a 18month sales out rolling forecast at SKU level  
  • Effective budget management (customer P&L responsibility, management of a G2N budget).     
  • Fulfil seasonal strategies, market activities (incl. ROI analysis) 
  • Provide / share sales data for business cases 
  • Negotiate yearly sales target and annual execution plan with distributors 
  • Fulfil the yearly volume and net revenue and GP plan according to the goals and plans  
  • Maintain and improve product distribution and availability at the accounts 
  • Ensure price execution to stores     
  • Maintain, check & update customer data in internal tools 
  • Analyse stock and sales data for input into forecasts / implementing new activities  
  • Monitor inventory level at distributor (sales-in vs sales-out)

  • FMCG experience 
  • Strong business acumen 
  • Good P & L understanding and management 
  • Strong ability to influence  
  • Good negotiation skills 
  • Strong ability to make decisions incl. decisiveness.  
  • Stakeholder management internal/external 
  • Strong ability to deal with rejection and perseverance to create new opportunities
