Job Summary
The strategic role and purpose of the Key Account Manager on the Go is to drive the total business for Petrol Mart, CVS, and HOERA, in conjunction with the YLT business. This involves:
- Business Growth: Expanding market share and increasing sales across these key channels.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and executing strategies to achieve business objectives and drive overall growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for effective promotions, planning, proposals, and execution, including tracking, monitoring, and spending within the budget allocated by the company.
- Accountable for Sell-In and Sell-Out based on customer targets.
- Analyzes changing customer needs and market trends, understands their impact on current and future business, and responds proactively to secure long-term business performance.
- Collaborates closely with distributors to ensure sales initiatives and budgeted executions meet company objectives.
- Works with distributors to recruit new business opportunities in the HORECA channel and drive this business segment.
- Tracks and analyzes total end-to-end trade operation effectiveness and productivity with distributors.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing and Trade Marketing to drive value-added programs and activities to meet company objectives.
- Establishes good rapport with key retailers to provide timely and valuable information for decision-making.
- Possesses strong negotiation skills for leading trading term deals.
- Translates key learnings from consumer and retailer insights into strategic plans to capitalize on opportunities and proactively proposes corrective actions to address issues.
- Ensures cross-functional alignment between customers and the company to achieve forecast accuracy and meet service level performance.
- Maintains good observation skills in trade with market and competition insights.

Skills and Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role within the FMCG industry (including Manager and Assistant Manager experience). Proven experience in managing modern trade retailers, with a focus on planning and execution.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in OTG channel field: CVS, Petrol Mart
- General Skills/Attributes: Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, and persuasion skills. Resourceful and results-oriented.
- Knowledge: Proficient in Sales Operations, Merchandising & Promo Planning, and In-Store Activation.
- Technical/Work-based Skills: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with analytical and negotiation abilities.
- Plus Point: Experience in the F&B FMCG industry.
