Reginal Sales Manager
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager for Sabah will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of strategies, achieve sales targets, optimize distribution networks, and enhance overall efficiency and sales spending. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a strategic vision to drive operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities

Sales Planning & Execution:
- Simplify processes and foster collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market strategies.
- Optimize distribution networks to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Develop strategic plans for product distribution across various channels (direct sales, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, e-commerce).
- Manage relationships with channel partners.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify improvement areas.
- Ensure compliance with call protocols, route plans, and visit calls.
- Build and maintain partnerships with retail allies.
- Enhance in-store execution and customer experience through regular store visits.

Mastering DMS Processes:
- Ensure smooth launch of DMS to all distributors within the timeline.
- Act as the key contact between distributors and cross-functional teams.
- Provide training and support to users for effective DMS utilization.

Analyze Distribution Channels:
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to track progress and identify improvement areas.
- Evaluate distribution partners' performance and capabilities.
- Analyze trade promotion data to optimize future strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness of incentive schemes for distributors or wholesalers.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track KPIs related to sales, distribution, and market share.
- Analyze data to align with channel strategies and present insights to the sales leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with standardized selling and working tools.
- Conduct periodic health checks of processes.
Your Team
Line Manager: Head of GT West and East Malaysia
Subordinate: 1 x Area Sales Executive
Skills and Experience
Knowledge:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Business discipline.
Technical / Work-Based Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in the FMCG industry, specifically in the GT Channel.
- Preferably from the beverage or food products industry.
General Skills / Attributes:
- Good understanding of the business environment and its dynamics.
- Strong leadership attributes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good commercial acumen, resilience, and a positive attitude.
- Strong agility.
- Good understanding of company directions and business essentials.
Additional Experience:
- Experience in managing salesforce effectiveness with a full understanding of data analysis in route-to-market management.
