Job Responsibilities
- Sourcing Support: Support the sourcing activities (RFI/ RFP/ RFQ) covering existing and new Raw & Packaging materials – to support both the existing, new products, packaging change etc.
- Database Management: Responsible for Database management and Analysis (OEM, suppliers’ database, Spend data etc.).
- Price Variance: Responsible for the collection and validation of the monthly Purchase Price Variance database with OEMs.
- Cost management: Responsible in handling day-to-day communication with OEMs & internal stakeholders when the need arise e.g. related to supply/ price query of Raw & Packaging materials/ other ad-hoc matters
- Project: Support other projects initiated by Procurement/ Supply Chain/ other internal stakeholder e.g. Feasibility Study for cost optimization/ process improvement/ Productivity projects.
- Supplier management: Support the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), i.e. monitor the supplier performance based on the KPI agreed.
- System support: System support such as maintenance of pricing in SAP, Vendors master, Material Master creation etc.
- Procurement support: Responsible for procurement support for indirect/non-inventory materials & related activities e.g. PO creation

Skills and Experience
Skills
- Strategic Sourcing: Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business goals.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles to manage budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
- Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing market trends, spend patterns, and supplier performance.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in procurement processes and documentation.
- Knowledge of Procurement Software: Familiarity with tools like SAP, Oracle, or other procurement software (Good-to have: SAP proficiency)
Experience
- Professional Experience: Typically, 5-8 years in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields in the MNC FMCG industry, with 3 years of direct experience in the Direct Procurement category at a managerial capacity and skillset.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the FMCG sector and its unique challenges.
- Supplier Management: Experience in managing supplier relationships and performance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of industry standards, rules, and regulations.
- Cost Management: Proven track record of implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Min. Bachelor’s Degree: In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
