Job Summary
The Marketing Assistant functions to provide administrative support and help coordinate marketing executional tasks to the marketing team.
Job Responsibilities
Administrative
- Raise Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders. Follow up to ensure that all Purchase Requisitions and Orders are approved by stakeholders
- Ensure that all jobs are closed once the required work is completed, and complete and close the appropriate documentation required
- Maintain e-filing system for all documents so that these documents are easily accessible for tracking purposes
- To organized all the sales orders / delivery order / POD hard copies by customers / by date sequentially into the each recall box and name it accordingly.
- To update the TRA number and SAP PGR number into the TRA Log book on daily basis to prevent back logs.
Marketing Activities
- Support marketing team on selected marketing activities such as consumer sampling activities, concourse activations, artwork development
- Help manage requests for sponsorship by ensuring that relevant stocks are raised and delivered to the event.
Customer Support
- When required, attend to consumer calls received through the customer care hotline

Skills and Experience
- Contractual role and renewed yearly.
- Work experience: 3 years and a min 2 years in the marketing field, and good to have similar industry background in FMCG / Retail.
- Education: Min. Diploma graduate
- Personality: Vibrant and energetic with an interest in marketing
- Industry: Previous experience in marketing administrative role with min. 3 years, in retail/ general trading industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Plus point:
-Background in marketing or administrative in FMCG or retail.
-Technical skills: Familiarity with SAP for creating and evaluating PR/PO, WBS, and other finance processes.
-Coordination Skills: Ability to coordinate marketing campaign executional tasks, including sampling programs, online contests, and consumer promotions.
Education
Bachelors in Business Administration or Marketing
