About your role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible in managing Indedepdent Pharmacy accouts in the Pharmacy group channel, executing sales strategis and maintaining customer relationships.

Subordinate: 1 x Assistant Key Account Manager
Reporting Line Manager: Head of Pharmacy

What You'll Do
- Develop and execute annual account plans to meet sales and profitability goals.
- Monitor performance and initiate actions to ensure targets are achieved.
- Lead negotiations with buyers on promotional costs and margins.
- Manage trade funds efficiently and ensure ROI on promotional activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to execute in-store promotions and displays.
- Conduct regular business reviews and joint business planning with key accounts.
- Coordinate supply chain activities to ensure stock availability and operational efficiency.
- Analyze external data (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, shopper insights) to inform strategy.
- Drive category development projects and expand distribution opportunities.

What You need to be successful
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales management within the FMCG industry, preferably with independent retail pharmacy channel exposure, and a minimum 2 years experience in managerial experience including Assistant Manager experience.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience working with external data sources and insights platforms.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
